Ancient + Brave
It is my morning ritual when, long after coffee, reading, yoga, dry brushing, and taking Gatsby out, I mix my kefir with Radiant Collagyn for Beauty filled with notes of berries. I add psyllium, nuts, seeds and dried fruits, as for me, there is no better way to start the day. But that is not all I love to add to my daily rituals, as from time to time, True Collagen Sachets find their way into my kefir or apple puree (especially handy during trips), and then, there are the days when, instead of my chai latte or coffee, I opt for Cacao + Collagen.
I have had Ancient + Brave in my daily rituals (not all the time, though) for almost three years, and I am happy to share the same passion with some of my girlfriends who, by the way, are much more regular with using Callogen from Ancient+Brave and I still need to follow their example.
But why should one take collagen, which our body produces itself? The answer is simple. Everyday stress makes us lose it much faster than expected, leaving our skin less radiant and lively (was my case), which may be visible only on our skin, yet there is a much deeper work that is happening when we take collagen as it works on our bones, muscles, and blood. And sadly, as we age, our collagen breaks down too, and it is much harder for our bodies to produce as much as we might need it, yet to provide the body with structure and strength, collagen is very much needed.
So, yes, even if we do eat products that fill our bodies with collagen, it is rarely enough. Anything to add a bit more to that is always a good idea. And, when it tastes this good, it is even better.
"Collagen provides structure to the skin, hair, bones, blood vessel walls, ligaments, tendons, cartilage and connective tissue, so you can’t underestimate the importance of this incredible protein. Past the age of 30 our ability to replenish collagen naturally diminishes and this decline greatly accelerates after the menopause. Researchers have identified 28 different types of collagen yet over 90% of the collagen found in your body is Type I."
