Mason Cash
I remember dreaming of taking Mason Cash home every time I was in London. Yet, I was unwilling to risk and break any of my purchases in those thrown suitcases until a few years ago, when I asked my friend to bring two bowls in her bag. In one piece, they landed in my home, and I was the happiest person ever.
A few years later, living in Lyon, I am more content as I have a collection of them. Of bowls. From white and beige to forest green and blue. From small to large. The collection of authentic bowls and jars, memories, and history which arrives together with every single item delivered, and the story of these creations started as far back as 1800.
"Mason Cash has been the choice of home cooks and bakers for centuries. The origins of Mason Cash can be traced back to a pottery operating at Church Gresley in the heart of the English ceramic industry in 1800. Church Gresley was located close to all the raw material and fuel sources required to make ceramics and had fantastic transport links to take finished goods all over the UK and the world."
However, it was in 1901 that Mason Cash became famous, and the very signature Mason Cash mixing bowl was created without changing a lot over the years. And that is what the story about Mason Cash is. About tradition, history and a mixture of innovation.
