Easy appetizer plate

It is easy to serve food when the ingredients are good – then it is just a matter of minutes tu put it on and voilà. This happened to me when I tried these Trigg's sauces – so simple, yet so full of different flavours. The beetroot and honey is a bomb – sweet, but tart and perfect with cold/hot meats, cheeses, smoked mackerel and other foods. Pepper & mustard sauce is something so, so different – it is pungent, but with the needed sweetness to make everyone happy. It goes excellent with salads, sandwiches, cold and hot meat, pies and any BBQ. Both of them are great just like that – as dipping sauces on the party appetizer plate or asa compliment to grilled fish or meat.

Ingredients

1st plate

Tigg's Beetroot & Honey Sauce
smoked mackrel
smoked salmon or trout
rye bread or baguette
carrot chips or any other chips to your liking
fresh sheeps milk cheese
romaine salad leaves, cut into 4 pats each

2nd plate
Tigg's Pepper & Mustard Sauce
smoked cheese – like mozarella or cheddar, or both
slices of smoked meat
slices of lardo
3 heads romaine lettuce,
potato chips

Prepare

Take two wooden boards or any plates you wish and make platters. It’s as simple as that. The quantity depends on the amount of people you'll be serving.
