Tomato sauce for everything
Ingredients
2 kg tomatoes, cut
2 medium garlic heads, cloves peeled
handful roughly chopped parsley
handful roughly chopped basil
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp smoked salt
2 tsp chopped fresh thyme
50 ml grape seed or virgin olive oil
1 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp demerara sugar
Mix everything in the pan. Heat the oven 180 and cook tomatoes for 1 h. Blend, sieve, and pour into the large pot. Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. You can fill in sterilized jars, but I do not do that. I let it cool and use some of it during upcoming days and freeze the rest (divided into portions).
