Selection of the month. December

There was a time when I hated standing in front of the mirror looking at myself, as no woman likes to witness her face in pimples arriving and departing in their own time. Hair thinning and skin looking like I were 65 instead of 41. Especially after those million visits to doctors, dermatologists and treatments that seem to do the making for a month of slipping into the old slipper right after that. And, even more so, after you know, you have been eating all of the products that, in theory, should make you the most blooming person ever. There are reasons why those things happen or, more precisely, do not happen, but that is a story for another time.

Nevertheless, I have been blessed with changes in my life as well as intelligent people and partners around me guiding me towards healing, and on that way, I have discovered quite a few gems that are most certainly staying in my bathroom.

From local brands made in Lyon to others travelling worldwide, this is a list of some of my favourite products I like using daily.

FACE THEORY - it took me years and way too much investment while trying to find something with the problems of my skin when my biohacker suggested this in between my skin routine, and believe it or not, it has made an enormous difference. "A clarifying serum with 15% azelaic acid to help reduce the appearance of blemishes, plus colloidal oatmeal to help calm skin."

RMS - I will forever be grateful to my friend Karlina, who suggested products from RMS Beauty. This is my grandest discovery in terms of the foundation world. Easy to apply, smooth, clean, and almost invisible. Perfect. Read more

BIORGANIQUE castor oil - it is not a secret that castor oil is pure gold, helping with almost everything, and so far, my favourite brand to buy it from has been (also because of the packaging but not only) this one. Come together with brushes so that you can also apply them on brows and eyelashes, stimulating their growth.

100 BON - discovered last year next to my boulangerie. With its natural parfums, this place is my most beloved if I look for perfume, eau de toilette and home fragrances. Discover
