This is a place where people are not afraid to sit next to a complete stranger, because free spots are rare. The cappuccino is always exquisite – with oat milk. And the breakfast granola and cakes! Cafelix

As are many other places in town, this place, too, is famous, but small. It’s simple with a metal counter and old cups and glasses – very simple, except for the coffee. It’s not simple, but quite perfect, starting with the espresso all the way through to cold coffee. The place is always full, so locals just grab their cup and sit outside. Simple. www.cafelix.co.il

Mae

Rumour has it that this place was once much better – it was more popular with the intelligentsia, intimate, special. But now that it is famous, everyone comes here. But that hasn’t changed the quality of the coffee that is truly enjoyable, particularly in the warm weather in the shade sitting at a marble table.
