Domaine Bernard Gripa Saint-Joseph

There is something about a nice glass of Rhone wine, no matter what colour — white or red. Maybe it the soil, the French touch, the grapes, or the fact that we went there, but, whenever I have a glass of Rhone wine, I have everything I need. Today, on the banks of the Rhone, Fabriss Gripa and his father Bernardu make wines from 16ha of grapes, divided in half between white and red. This particular wine is made from Marsanne and Rousanne grapes. Some say it is full-bodied white. For me, it is more on the medium-bodied side with hints of pineapple, honey, apricots, and a tiny bit of almond.
