Cotes du Jura AOC Savagnin

If there were only one wine to have before my last breath of air, this would be it. I would even have it over a glass of champagne and that happens rarely. The Bourdy family has been in the wine business since the end of the 15th century, growing Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Trousseau, and Poulsard grapes. They produce one of the world's cheapest wines with tremendous aging potential. Many critics compare theirs to the top wines from Chablis, and once you try them, you will understand why. I love their wine — from the design of the label to the last drop. It is full-bodied, creamy, mineraly, buttery and with good acidity to balance it all out.
