Savon Stories
I walked by the shelves at the Soleil d’Octobre shop, smelling everything — from candles to washing detergents and creams. I passed them by the first time, but making a second round to choose which candle I would take, I spotted the beautiful package of roses on top. N°4 Le Vivifiant Rose Musquée. I turned the package around and read, pretending to understand everything, as it was in French, but I did not understand the most. Made from Rose de Damas, the soap works to protect and acts as an antioxidant. Full of minerals and vitamins, this soap nourishes the skin. I took that bar. I knew a friend who would appreciate this as a Christmas gift. But then I saw another package — N°2 Le Régulateur Charcoal Nigella. Again, I turned the packaging around and read. Perfect for all problematic skins. The coal cleanses and exfoliates. The Nigella and rosemary soothe. I was sold. And in love that moment and now. Made without palm oil, cruelty-free, organic, for body, face, and hair (the range is much wider than these two soaps).
